Meet the Founders
About Craig & Genesis Burroughs
Craig and Genesis Burroughs are the founders of Genuine Property Management and Genuine Realty, serving property owners, tenants, and guests throughout Southwest Florida.
Craig Burroughs is the primary property manager for Genuine Property Management, overseeing both long-term rental and vacation rental operations across Southwest Florida. A U.S. Army veteran, Craig brings a disciplined, hands-on approach to property oversight — managing tenant relations, coordinating with local vendors, and ensuring properties are well-maintained. His focus is on protecting owners' investments and keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly.
Genesis Burroughs is the broker and owner of Genuine Realty, where she helps clients buy and sell homes and investment properties throughout Southwest Florida. An excellent negotiator and a strong advocate for her clients, Genesis guides buyers, sellers, and investors through real estate transactions with clarity — helping them navigate the process and make confident, informed decisions.
Our Community
Rooted in Southwest Florida
Southwest Florida has been home to Craig and Genesis for nearly 15 years. It's where they have raised their family, built their businesses, and become part of the community they serve. Genuine Property Management has served Southwest Florida property owners since April 2015, giving Craig and Genesis a long-term perspective on the area's growth, changing rental market, and the needs of local property owners and families.
Their commitment to the community extends beyond Genuine Property Management and Genuine Realty. Craig and Genesis also work with Transforming TMRW, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on mentoring, coaching, and supporting at-risk youth and their families. Through their time, resources, and the success of their businesses, they support the organization's mission of helping young people and families overcome challenges, strengthen relationships, and build a stronger future.
